An Experiential Marketing Maven!
Well, I carry the essence of a consumer from the liberalization period of India with an on-hand experience as a marketer and I hail from Champaran, Bihar. Coming from a modest background had its own challenges and shortcomings, but this upbringing shaped my character of being a keen learner in life as well.
My Tryst with Experiential Marketing!
It all began when globalization came to India, which opened–up the Indian economy in such a way that a shift was seen from conventional marketing methods to Guerilla Marketing. With time, I have evolved as a marketer. Be it from having no Google, to all new avenues of marketing. I’ve been there and seen that!
I still remember my inclination towards Experiential Marketing, which began with an assignment during my first job. The first job involved me to devise campaign marketing plans & following it, my team delivered a successful result which made me understand about customer experience & consumer preferences, which is how I was introduced to the concept of Experiential Marketing.
Experiential Marketing was a revelation for me, but this industry was very unorganized and raw, which didn’t appeal to me to step in it as a marketer. Yet, I was involved in activities where I got opportunities, one after another, where my role revolved around Experiential Marketing in some or the other form.
Over a period, experiential marketing had become very enticing to me, as I tried to understand the hype and reason behind so much money being invested in it as a part of events, but it wasn’t considered a serious work in the public’s opinion till the late 2000s.
While in my professional journey, I learnt a lot about new marketing techniques and also about the consumer; such that a person is almost every moment exposed to advertising except the few hours of sleep. My foray into the integrated marketing services got me the opportunity to interact with big brands, making me understand that experiential marketing has not remained either small or unorganized anymore, but is the thriving new future of marketing.
Finally, it happened.
After sometime, I fell in love with the idea of making this my career and that is how I enjoy every moment of my work today.
Experiential Marketing has not only opened many other avenues in the marketing arena but also offered an umbrella to many other marketing techniques & methods.
For me, Experience is everything because eventually in life – “It all comes down to, how one has made you feel!”
As a marketer, I aim to make a difference with my perseverance and dedication towards spreading knowledge & joy.
I have associated with many brands as an experiential marketer and delivered a successful performance, be it the worldwide brands like, Honda, Hero Cycles, Steelbird helmets, Toyota, Tata, Samsung or other well-known brands. The experience to create a successful experiential marketing campaign has made me a pioneer who now aims to disseminate this experiential marketing knowledge & techniques to the world over.
So, on a personal note, happiness is the above-most experience desired by me and I offer that with my services. Thereby, I’m distinctly identified as the Founder-CEO of India’s leading Experiential Marketing Group – Radiant.
